A car subscription is a flexible way to use a car without owning it. You choose a vehicle, agree a subscription package, and pay a recurring fee. In return, MOOV provides an all-inclusive vehicle package, which means insurance, servicing, maintenance and breakdown assistance are handled by MOOV for the duration of your subscription. You simply pick the car, drive it, and return it when you are done.

Subscription sits between traditional rental and long-term leasing. Like rental, it gives you short to medium term flexibility, but like leasing, it rewards longer commitment with better value and a car that feels like “yours” for the period you keep it.

With MOOV, you choose your subscription term, your monthly kilometre allowance and the vehicle you prefer. The car is delivered and collected at a time and place that suits you, and you can switch to another package or car category in line with your contract terms, typically at the end of a subscription month. The aim is a hassle-free, all-inclusive alternative to owning, renting or leasing.

Subscription length with MOOV starts from 1 month and can go up to 18 months, depending on the package you select at the time of booking.

Each package also comes with a monthly kilometre allowance, usually 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 kilometres per month. If you exceed your allowance, there is an additional per-kilometre charge added to your invoice.

Your MOOV subscription renews automatically every 30 days, so there is nothing you need to do to keep the car, provided your payments are up to date. At renewal, MOOV charges your registered card for the monthly subscription amount and any extra amounts due, such as toll fees or traffic fines that have been posted to your account.

If you are on a promotional or special package, the renewal offer, price or terms may change when that promotion ends, so the exact renewal conditions are always defined in your subscription contract.

Your monthly subscription covers the core cost of using the car on a subscription basis, along with any optional extras you have added, such as extra insurance or higher mileage. The operational side of running the vehicle, such as standard insurance, servicing, maintenance and breakdown support, is handled by MOOV as part of the subscription model rather than being separate costs you need to manage.

On top of the monthly subscription, there are variable charges that sit outside the base price. These include Salik tolls, traffic fines and certain parking-related charges, which are invoiced separately and typically charged to your registered card on a regular basis, often weekly. Salik tolls also attract a small administration fee per toll as specified in your MOOV invoice.

A security amount is normally held at the end of your subscription to cover any post-subscription items such as damage or fines that appear later. Any usage-based or penalty fees are always set out in your contract and on your invoices, so you can see clearly what you are paying for.
